Your information regarding the McDill book is correct. It was written by my husband's parents and I just spent several days sorting through the files Dad left when he died. One of the last letters he wrote answering an inquiry was in 1982 in which he said that he had about twice as much information as when he wrote the book in 1940 and was hoping to publish a revised version. Two of our daughters are interested in genealogy and have started putting Dad's information into the FTM program as an essential part of dealing with so much information. I don't know if we will ever feel competent to publish the material (finding the substantiation for his information among all his notes would be a huge undertaking!). At any rate, slowly I hope that we can make sense of what he had collected and in some way make it available.
