Hello, my name is Margaret Ann (Peggy) McDill. My father was Lt. Col. James Nixon McDill from Chester, SC. He grew up around Chester and Due West and Columbia. He was a pilot in the USAF and married my mother, Madge Cooper McDill of Prague, Oklahoma. I have a brother James Nixon McDill, Jr. of Beaufort SC. My grandparents were Nixon Moffat McDill of Columbia, SC and he married Margaret Dundis Cheyne. My grandparents are deceased and my father passed away in 1990. My brother Jim McDill continues to live in Beaufort SC and my mother Madge McDill lives in Hampton, SC where my father and mother made their home after my Dad retired from the Air Force. My bother has two daughters, Laurie and Leslie who reside in Columbia, SC and I have two children Kim and Kevin who reside in Oklahoma City which is where I live. My grandparents are buried in a McDill family plot in Due West SC where alot of the McDill family still resides. My Grandfather Nixon Moffat McDill had a bother, Tom McDill and atleast one sister Emma and they resided in Columbia SC until their death. I make many trips to SC to visit my family. My father James N. McDill is buried at the Beaufort Nation Cemetery in Beaufort. I would be more than interested in keeping up with the McDill genealogy and hope to hear from you soon.
