Thanks for responding, I have a copy of the book and am amazed at the effort that he must have put forth in order to compile all the info. If you run across any info on Nathaniel McDill who came to South Carolina in 1772 I would appreciate it. In the book he is cited but his relationship to John and Janet was not clear. This McDill is on my wife's side and I am a descendant of Jacob McDill who lived in Pennsylvania in the 1700's. Any info would be appreciated.
