I'm the one who mentioned papers in the attic. In late 1993 or early 1994 I wrote to the owners of the McDill-Anderson Bed and Breakfast, asking if they had any old records of the McDill family (Mary Ann McDill married David Banker or Bankard in 1810 in Chillicothe; I'm looking for any info on David). On Feb. 3, 1994, Ruth Myer wrote me and said that theyoften get similar questions about the McDill and Anderson lines, and that "we do have genealogical materials for both family lines, however they are stored in boxes in the garret." That's all I know. We were never able to get out that way to check further. Perhaps someone in the Chillicothe area could do that?
