Ray
I have no idea where Nathaniel is buried, but his property was sold in Tallapoosa Co beginning in 1857 and continuing for several years after that. He definitely lived in Tallapoosa Co, there are several records for him there, including the 1855 state census and two land purchases in 1851 and 1852. I'm not sure when or where Ann died, she may have still been alive as late as 1880. I have a census entry for son-in-law David Sargent, very hard to read, that shows a 58 year-old female in the household. The name looks like M. Dullmer. In the relationship to head of household category it says mother, but this is not David's mother (she was dead nearly 40 years) and I don't think it was David's step-mother, so I have been wondering if this was Ann. If so, she may have gone to TX with the Sargents the following year and died out there. One of my Sargent "cousins" out there has an old photo on glass from the 1860s that might be Ann. It has a rather ambiguous label on it.
