Hi Barbara!Well, looks like we may be close.My family settled in Tatnall, Bulloch,and Liberty counties, which are very close to Toombs.I beleive Toombs is a neighboring county to Tatnall??It is my understanding that the name was MCDILDAY but, because of inclement weather and wet passports-some of our ancesters had to register as MCDILDA because the y was not readable on their papers.
