Thanks for the info, Lisa. Every tiny morsel of info I find is so exciting! Our unusual name surely does present quite a challenge. I'm checking this forum closely and will be posting anything I find and really do appreciate all who are sharing. I was beginning to think I was the only MCDILDA online searching...lol. This is great. Maybe we'll get this puzzle put together yet! PS: I've heard that Toombs County, GA records, until 1905 (I believe), are held in Tattnall County, GA; Reidsville, GA is the county seat. After 1905 (if I have correct year), would be in Toombs County where Lyons, GA is the county seat.
