I think that Nathaniel Jr. was the son of Nathaniel McDill who came to S. C, in 1772 on the Pennsylvania Farmer from Ireland. He was granted 300 acres of land in Craven Co, now Richland County. His will was proved in 1785, have his will, Mary his wife was granted 100 acres of land in Chester Co in 1786, think that Nat. Jr. brothers were James (my wife's line who stayed in Fairfield Co.; Thomas who died in Abbeville Co. and three sisters Margaret, Sarah and Mary. Have proof of Nathaniel Jr. living in Chester Co. in 1800 and in Richland Co. in 1810. Can't help on wife's maiden names, but would like any info. email -
