Daniel McDougald, late 1700's in NC/SC

I am looking for information on Daniel McDougald (or any variation of the spelling of the last name. I beleive him to have been born sometime between 1769 and 1780. He could have possibly died before 1827. Daniel married a Sarah and had several children, Daniel, John, Betsy, Miles, Sarah and Alexander. One of which I am a decendant of.
Daniel was born and lived in the Carolina area. I know that there was about four Daniels living in the Carolina area at this time, some are easy to find and same are not. If you can help in any way it would be very much apperciated and I am willing to share what I have. Please leave a message and I will reply back. THANK YOU.
