I am searching for information on Elizabeth, Ruth, & James McEver(s).
This information is all I have on Ruth:
"Elizabeth was the only child of James and Ruth (Hunter) McEver(s). Her mother married Mr. McEver(s) at a very early age. Being seized with a fatal consumption, she went to Europe with her husband, died in Rome, and was buried in the same cemetery where rests the remains of the poet Keats, and at the foot of the pyramid of Caius Cestius".
Elizabeth married Robert Baynard of New York. Their first child, William, was born Feb. 16, 1821 and died in 1842 with out issue.Ruth Hunter, was born June 22, 1822, married Alexander Spers Brown. Elise Justine, was born August 16, 1823, married Fulton Cutting.
I would really appreciate any information on the mother Ruth Hunter who was born in the early 1700s and married James McEvers, Sr. who was the father of James McEvers who fought in the Revolutionary War in 1776.
Thank you.
