Floyd, I come from the William Julius branch of the elusive Alney McFalls. This post and another about the death certificate of Mary Ann Narcissa McFalls Pence (sister of William Julius)

First on this post you have a birthdate for Alney of July 18, 1819 ... where did you get that date ? I had it narrowed to 1818 or 1819 but no further .

Second on the Pence post you had the certificate with the father named as John McFalls ... It would have been Alney unless there is another piece of info I don't have or the cert is just wrong.

By the way, on a third post you had Alney (AB) in Montgomery county NC in the 1860 census ... I have the image and its from Monroe Co. TN in 1860.

Thanks , Wayne
