Yes, James 1801 from NC is the Half-Brother of Susannah... Arthur was their father. Some people have James being born in 1806 but I'm convinced from census and other records it was 1801.

James' mother it appears was Delia(h) ... like Cor-delia
but not Delilah ... that was either a Patrick McFalls (brother of Arthur) or John Jr. (brother of Arthur)'s wife.

I don't know if she was scalped, I have seen various stories of scalped McFall(s) women. Mary Pitman wife of Cornelius McFall(s) was supposedly scalped and survived

John SR. (father of Arthur, John Jr., Patrick(?)) may have had a wife scalped as I have seen a story somewhere that John Sr. and his wife were killed by Indians .. no confirmation.

I have some suspicions that John Sr. did not get killed by Indians .. wondering if this John Sr. (b.1721ish) ends up being the same John (b.1728ish PA) that went to Kentucky and was captured with wife Barbara and some children .. maybe that's where stories get lost or crossed. Anyway have no confirmation either way.

Glad to know someone else is working out there.

Wayne
