Hi,
I didn't realize that Wiley Mace was Newsome Maces brother. I have a sister for Newsome named Sally Mace, who married James Madison McFalls. Supposedly James Madison McFalls was a son of Arthur and Deliah. I have that Wiley and Newsome Mace's parents were Jonas Mace and Elizabeth Newsome.

With Celia McFalls (who married Basil Elkins) being born in 1815, she sure would fit into one of the households of Arthur. Either with Teek or with another wife Emily 'Emzy' Hollifield McFalls. If Celia named her daughter Emsey, it sounds like she named her after her 'mother'! What do you think? This sure sounds logical to me. There has been a question tossed around that Arthur and Emsey also had a son named David about 1817. Have you heard this? I also have heard that Arthur and one of the wives had a son about 1780 named Arthur, Jr. I can't prove these two statements however. Lastly, I have heard of a 4th wife for Arthur named Barbara Hollifield. Again, no proof. I did find an interesting item for an Alney B. McFalls born 1819. Some think he was a son of Arthurs. I do have that Arthur and Teek are both buried at Grassy Creek cemetery in Spruce Pine, NC. I was told once that Emily 'Emzy' Hollifield, wife of Arthur was a daughter of Minerva Hollifield and a William Padgett. I don't know if Mr. Padgett is her father or step-father. Emzy supposedly had a brother Jacob Hollifield.
Please let me know what you think of all of this. If you can add anything, or if you see anything I need to delete, please let me know.

By the way, I am related to the McFalls as an allied line, not by blood. Arthur's son Isaac McFalls (by Teek) married Eliza Garrison. One of their sons, Stephen McFalls, married my great-grandma after my great-grandpa died. She was Stephen's second wife. This made Stephen McFalls my 'step-great-grandpa'. Stephen and my great-grandma had one son together, William Isaac McFalls. Therefore he was a step-brother to my grandma.
Hope to hear from you again soon.
Anita
