Larry,
Someone gave me the name Barbara. For a long time I thought that she was actually Emzy, Arthur McFalls 2nd wife. Emzy's name was Emily Hollifield. I've wondered many times if her name was Barbara Emily Hollifield. But if you have the Bible entry saying Barbara, then that much must be true, because everything I've seen on Emzy, her name is spelled Emzy or Emzay (her mg. record). I've wondered if Barbara and Emzy were sisters. In the 1830 census, Arthur states he is between 70 & 80. The oldest female is between 30 and 40. Alney was born July 18, 1819. This was around the same time he was married to Emzy, so I am wondering if Arthur was ever married to Barbara Hollifield. During this same period Arthur had a 'relationship' with the Indian Girl Teekaloosa. They had two sons, Isaac and Abraham Hiram (Our line is from Isaac.)I've never found a marriage record for Arthur and Teek. However, I do have a marriage record for Arthur and his first wife Delilah Hollifield and his 2nd wife, Emzy Hollifield. The link for the marriage record for Arthur and Emzy is:

About the Holywood name, yes it should be Hollifield. I've also seen the name spelled Holyfield. The Duram McFalls that is a witness to the marriage of Arthur and Emzy is Arthur's brother. I have also wondered if Delilah, Emzy and Barbara were all sisters. Just speculation. I hadn't heard that Alney had a sister, Mira Ann Vesta, so glad to get that bit of info.
Lastly, how would I get in touch with Gary Tharp?
