Arthur, the brother, was in the Indian Wars before the Revolution and served at Kings Mt., repeatedly is listed by researchers as a Tory, not so. He received a pension for service with the Americans. His second wife Enezy Hollifield received a pension on his service. Tories did not receive pensions from the American government! Arthur is buried at Turkey Cove, Yancey Co., NC.
