Can't wait to hear about the death certificate ..
I have Matilda's parents as Charles McKinney and Nancy Triplett. The name Nancy Triplett I got from my mother years ago (she wasn't sure but) .. then my niece found a site about Charles (Cove Charlie) who had 7 wives and 48 kids... one of his wives was Nancy Triplett and the time frames match up pretty well ... the site with his info was

Have found other info which corresponds to some of that site's info ... marriage to Elizabeth Lowery for one
