Floyd, Many thanks to you for sharing this info, so that all of us do not have to request it. When I wrote the little narrative on Alney & Matilda & their children for my mom in honor of her 80th birthday, I still did not have Matilda on the 1870 or 1890 Census. Have you located her yet on either of these? Also, do you know of any surviving photos of Matilda &/or Alney and children (as adults)? I have a couple of photos of John Andrew (who we call A.J. McFalls) and have now seen a photo of his brother Charles, but I would love to see photos of his other brothers and sisters. Will be happy to reimburse for cost of photo copies.
