Johanne, It could be that when the cemetery was flooded out that the head stones were lost or damaged or there may have never been a headstone. As far as later placing them in the Day Cemetery, I would think that unlikely. In most cases, graves were not moved. I will try to see what I can find out, but I don't know if I will be of much help.
