I have reason to believe that Thomas is my ggggg-grandfather and the father of Martha Chambers who was born in Ireland in 1898 and was married to John Chambers. The 1815 directory can be searched and viewed on the Historic Pittsburgh website: http://digital.library.pitt.edu/pittsburgh/mainpage.html. Thomas is the only McFann who appears in the directory.
