I believe the father of Nathaniel McFann (b. ca. 1803 in Martic twp, Lancaster Co., PA) was William McFann, not Aaron McFann as some others have stated. Aaron McFann Jr. would be son of Aaron McFann Sr., William's brother.

Aaron, David, William and Robert (found in the 1801-09 Martic tax lists) are believed to be sons of Nathaniel McFann. Nathaniel is believed to be a brother of John, Daniel and an unknown McFann (probably David) and are the first immigrants of the McFann clan to America in the late 1700's. They most likely came from Londonderry Co. in Northern Ireland

I will send you copies of e-mails from a couple of years ago regarding this subject. There is no definitive document that establishes the connection...only logical conclusions from the data found in the records and it should be stated as such.
