Dear Loretta:
On my wife's side there are a number of McFerrens. Some came from Roxbury, Franklin Twp., PA. Others came from the Mont Alto - Quincy area. Roxbury is up county and Mont Alto - Quincy area is near Waynesboro. The Mont Alto cemetery has some McFerrens. Peter McFerren (1792-1856) and his wife Elizabeth Fetterhoff (1790-1859) are buried in Gilford Twp. north of but not far from Mont Alto.
