From The Valley Chronicle (St. Charles, Ill), 29 April 1892:
While Ed. McFerren and family, of Wheaton, were eating their breakfast the other morning, they discovered that the house was afire. They quit eating, went to work and put the fire out, and then finished their breakfast.
