I believe all the McGarrigles came from Tyrone or Donagal. My ancestor, Charles McGarrigle came to America in 1865 or 1868. He was born in 1833 as listed in the 1880 Philadelpia census. There were a number of McGarrigles here in Philadelphia at that time.
I have not yet directly documented his arrival and therefore don't have a date or ship. Two of his seven children were born in Ireland and also came to Philadelphia.

He married Alice McDermet in Ireland and they came to Aemerica. There are two Charles McGarrigles who applied for US citizenship in Philadlephia in the 1880's . I'm tracking down those applications. I can send a family history if you wish.
PS Iv'e been to Ireland twice but never to the North. I saw my Grandfater's house(My mothers side) in Cobh. My next trip will be to the North

There is also a John McGarrigle my age (56) here in Delaware county Pa born in Srabaine country Tryone. Must be a relative.
