Bill; I just happened to see your McGarrigle Forum/ My GR.Gr. Grandfather was a George McGerrigle who married a Bridget McCole and had a son John McGerrigle who married an Elizabeth McLaughlin. John and Eliz. lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. in the l850's on Warren Street, Brooklyln. John and Eliz. moved to Randolph, Ma.,south of Boston, and raised their family of 7 sons and 1 Daughter, Mary. My grandmother was Ellen McGerrigle, daughter of Charles and grandaughter of John and Eliz. I will add more info if you think this combination of names would fit your family. I have the McG. family almost all documented in Ma. but the biggest mystery was where they came from in Ireland. Let me know what you think about this. Regards, Mary
