Margaret McGarry 1897 United Kingdom

My grandmother Margaret McGarry came to New Zealand from Gateshead-on-Tyne or Newcastle-on-Tyne on the Ionic. She was born in August 1897 but I do not know where. She married my grandfather in Te Kuiti New Zealand on 1 August 1923. He was Richard Thomas O'Donnell born in Doonbeg County Clare Ireland in 1888 and we know all his ancestory. We know nothing much about Margaret except that she had possibly 2 or 3 brothers one of whom was killed in WWI, one came back from France with plurisy. She worked in a munitions factory in England and was Church of England religion. She seemed to have no contact with any of her family once she arrived in New Zealand. I would love to hear from anyone who thinks they know something about her. She has two out of three children still surviving: Richard Thomas O'Donnell aged 83 and Marjory (Bessie) (Sister Mary Peter Chanel) aged 81. Bessie's twin brother Tom has passed on. She died in 1968.
