Happened to come accross this site today. Mary McGarry was the eldest sister of my father, Frank McGarry. They were from a family of eight children, Mary being the eldest of five girls and three boys. Bernard, the middle boy died when he was very young. I saw a lot of aunty Mary when I was little and growing up, Widnes is a very tight knit community, and everyone knows everyone else. My maternal grandmother lived two doors away from Aunty Mary and so I spent lots of time there. I cannot remember Uncle Richard, but I do remember her always mourning him. They had three children, John who never married and died in June 1977, Mary who had two daughters and died a few years ago, and Dennis, do not know how many children he had, but he is still alive and living in Widnes. I also know lots of connections with the Farrell family if you want to know.
