My name is Lamonte McGhee jr and I am the son of the late Lamonte McGhee Sr. I am trying to find out who I am exactly. Where my name comes from, who my family is, things like that. My Grandfathers name was Frank W. McGhee. He was from Atlanta Georgia and moved up here to New York city where i currently live. He married my grandmother Violet Harvin(though that was not her madien name) and had 5 children. I was told he was a cook of some sort on a boat in the military i believe. I also think i remember being told that i have family in atlanta that does some kind of construction work.This is about all i know. Anyone?
