I have Asa's will and a lot of info on him . He was in Weakley Co TN before Obion broke off of it. He is listed as McGehee . He was b TN 1786 and was in indian lands in Ala 1805 when he was forced to remove by army by 1809. He married an indian woman. He was in Giles Co from 1809 where some of his kids remained when he moved to Weakley Co TN by 1834.
Since you say a DNA was done do you have 37 markers or 67 markers done yet. I cannot believe his DNA matches Ralph who is said to be a McGee. Asa should match Mcgehee's. Pat
