My great, great, grandfather James M. McGhee came from Ohio. Served as a soldier in the Civil War. Died of TB acquired during the war on November 15th, 1868. He was married to Nancy Ann Arebaugh on April 24th, 1844. Nancy Ann Arebaugh died on May 12th, 1877.

James had at least one son named John Cochran McGhee born March 30th, 1868 in Ashville, Ohio. Died on April 24th, 1948 in Roseau, Minnesota. John married Sarah Harriet King and had four children. Esther McGhee Snustad, Mary M. Kaye (Agnes McGhee), Bruce Johnson McGhee, and Robert Everett McGhee.

Robert Everett McGhee married my grandmother Annabell Clairmont on June 9th, 1931. They had three children. Barabara Ann McGhee, Richard John McGhee, and Robert Joseph McGhee.

I am the youngest of eight children raised by my parents Robert and Virginia McGhee.

Does James M McGhee connect to any other history that you have found?
