Looking for descendant(s) of John K. McGILL and Sarah Ann
SINCLAIR, who mar. in Lafayette Co. MS 9 Jan. 1851; they had at least one daugh, Eliz. A. McGill, who was 5 yrs on 1860 census.
Prob. John K. died in war for Sarah A. mar. W.J. VICKERS in Pontotoc Co. MS. on 26 Sep. 1867. In 1870 Pontotoc Co. Census, Water Valley, P.O., E.A. (female)is living with "Azlin" JM, family, next door to Vickers. I think this is their daughter, Elizabeth A.
Don't know what happend to VICKERS, but Sarah was widow in HH in AR with her bro & wife,in 1880 with an 8 yr old son, Oscar Vickers. No Elizabeth.
In 1900 Yell Co. AR, Sarah VICKERS is HH, age 66, with a 'granddaughter, Lola Sullivan, age 17' living with her. I'm thinking Lola could be dau of Elizabeth. But I can't find Eliz. or who she married... could be Sullivan?
Is there anyone on this Forum that has information to help me locate Elizabeth's family?
