Looking for family information or descendents of John W. Ankers and Izetta (Myrick) Ankers (B:19 Mar 1891 Indiana D:19 Nov 1966 Los Angeles). John W. and Izetta lived in Vermillion County, Indiana in the 1920 Census. Then, lived in Los Angeles, California in the 1930 Census.

They had two children : Orin (or Oren) Ankers (B:24 May 1912 Indiana D:3 Sep 1973 Los Angeles) and Leottire (or Leotus) Ankers.

Izetta was the daughter of Ida (McGill) and Joseph Myrick. (M: 6 Aug 1890 Clay County, Indiana)

Joseph Myrick was born in Wales and moved to Clay County with his parents, George and Mary Ann (Rogers) Myrick.

Joseph Myrick had nine siblings: William Myrick (married Claudia Myrick), Thomas Myrick (married Minnie), Helen Myrick (married Clem Lawson), John G. “Jack” Myrick (married Katherine Gilmour), George R. Myrick (married Rose Bell Early), Earl H. Myrick (died early), James Myrick, Harry Myrick (married Lola Brill), Elizabeth Myrick (Canada), and Orilla Myrick (married Roy Hall)

Izetta had up to six siblings in Vigo/Vermillion County area of Indiana (George, Arthur, Walter, Joseph, Bessie, and Mildred).

(FYI “Myrick” shows up as “Merrick” in Census)
