Hi I'm sure I'm not smart enough to sort this all out, but I have an Andrew McGill born circa 1790 in Ireland He married an Agnes (nancy is nickname) McConnell in Ireland. Many of the names of his children are the same as the Andrew you mention. I THINK (emphasis) the Andrew you mention originally settled down in the lower part of the county near the Newberry line. I feel sure that all of the McGills are connected. The Andrew McGill that I have died in 1845 in Fairfield county Anyway, Blairs, McGill's,and Paul's "are all in" my family Irma
