This is my second try with more information on my search.

I want to apply for my dual citizenship Canada/Ireland (or however it goes)and I understand that I can. The only thing holding me back is accessing my Grandma's birth certificate. I have a copy of her death certificate but I need the other. Here is what I know.

Her maiden name: Bridget McGilligan
Born: 1915
Location: Derry Ireland
Her parents: Michael and Elizabeth (McCormack)McGilligan

My Grandmother came to Canada with her parents and all her brothers and sisters in 1928. Too many to name but they were scattered from Michigan to Hamilton Ontario and into different parts of New Brunswick.

Her surviving siblings are:
Joseph McGilligan (Pontiac Michigan)
James McGilligan (Hamilton Ontario)
Margaret Watson (Pontiac Michigan)

Her deseased siblings are:
Thomas J. McGilligan (past away May 2, 2005)
Pat McGilligan (past away - Andover NB)
Michael McGilligan (past away-Hamilton Ontario)
Marion McGilligan (Green) past away St. John NB
Jean (Fowler) past away Neripis NB

If you have any leadsto her exact birth place (Parish) in Derry, please reply. If you can help me on my search, please reply. My e-mail address is julia@wccnb.ca
