Suzy,

I posted this message quite a while back but got no good responses. Unfortunately, I don't have access to my computer with all of my genealogy stuff in it, but I do have some info on a Daniel McJilton that may be the same. Anyway, take a look at the info below and let me know if you think there mightbe any connection.

Daniel McJilton, b.1801 in Cecil County Maryland, He married Amalie Jane Tyson, b. 1811 and had 6 children: William Thomas MCJILTON, b.1833(born in MD), John Fletcher MCJILTON, b. 1834, Sarah Francis MCJILTON (Rall), b. 1836, Emily Jane MCJILTON (Lobaugh), b.1838, James Fletcher MCJILTON, b. 1840, and Edward Levi MCJILTON, b. 1842.

The McJiltons moved to Clark County, Ohio, sometime before 1838. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

David
