SCOTTISH MCGIMPSEY'S
Does anyone have McGimpsey ancestor's that lived in Scotland 1700 - 1780 named David, Andrew, John, William, Robert, Agnas or Anna. The spelling would be McGimpsie, McGympsie, McGimsie, McGimcie, McJimpsey or McJimsie.
In the 1740's David McGympsie lived in St. Ninians, Scotland. He was first married to Mary Leckie. His second wife was Anna Muschett. They married Sept. 9, 1740 at Kincardine By Dourne, Perth, Scotland.
They seem to vanish in records after 1741. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
