my name is Dirk Unterbrink. I live in Neuscharrel, Germany. I am working on the history of the emigration to the USA from Neuscharrel, Germany.
I tried to send an email to Mr George Homer McJimsey (geo472d@arn.net)who published the descendants of David McGympsie on the Internet, but my email to him came back. Does someone know his actually email address?
I have a problem:
I am looking for a Bernard Nordmann, who was born on August 15, 1875 in Neuscharrel. He emigrated to the USA and on September 28, 1909 he married to a Mrs Maria Gesina Luebbers from Scharrel, Germany in Louisville, Kentucky. Bernard died in the years of 1948 in America. All this information are in the church reccords of the St Lugderus Church in Neuscharrel, Germany. I am looking for information about this man and family.
I noticed that Mr George Homer McJimsey have in his family tree a Bernard George Nordmann, who married to Mary Gladys Humphrey, born December 3, 1920 in Kentucky. She was a descendant of David McGympsie.
Does anyone have the names and data of this Bernard George Nordmann`s parents? Who are his parents? It might be possible that my Bernard Nordmann could be the father of Bernard George Nordmann entioned in the descendants of David McGympsie.
I would be glad to heard from anyone about Bernard Nordmann.
