Hi Jason

Glad to welcome another McGimpsey. When our family came to America in the 1770s we spelled our name with the "p". It seems War and politics changed that with the hanging of Dr. William McGimpsey at Kings Mountain. I sent you an e-mail with more info on the McGimpsey's in America.
