Hi McGimpsey researchers.

I am just now getting back into researching my McGimpsey line (James McGimpsey b. 1794 d.1860 Toll Cross and Mary Johnstone b.1804.) and have not read the last couple of years messages until now.
I hope the following information is of some help to someone.

To recap --Mary Ann McGimpsey b1824, D.1888, the daughter of above according to a copy of marriage certificate was born in in Northern Ireland, Married William Patterson/Paterson. Their daughter Mary Paterson b. 1851 in Newtownards, NI, married John McNay, December 30, 1870 at Toll Cross United Presbyterian Church Manse, Glasgow Scotland.

Is their anybody researching this particular line? I have additional information about the Paterson McNay line.

Doe anybody have any more information regarding Mary Johnstone, Johnson, Jamieson family?
Did Mary Johnstone die in Ireland or in Scotland?

Hopefully someone can bring me up todate?
