Lorrie, sounds as if we might have a likely LINK! Do you have info on when Frank was in MI? Do you have a photograph of Frank or his siblings? I know that my paternal grandfather, Harry Louis McGinty looked a great deal like Arthur Godfrey - You may be too young to even know who that is - but I do have photos of Harry Louis McGinty and his mother, Nettie Thorpe (later married a Mr. Buehler, a Minnesota jeweler). I am really tickled to think my own 28 year search for Frank could have a connection to somebody....do you have any birth or marriage certificates on Frank? Do you know anything of his own mother, father or siblings?I had been told Frank had come from County Cork, Ireland - but Heaven only knows what stories my Irish ancestors cooked up! Ha! I do know that Harry Louis McGinty (possibly your Frank's son) was something of a rascal, tease and prankster. He was born supposedly July 4th. He and his wife, Rhetta O. Wilson MCGinty, divorced (unheard of in those days, especially with the Depression's after effects.)Look forward to hearing from you with new info. Gratefully, eloise mcginty howard
