I am attempting to research my Grandmother's family. Her name was Carrie Lee McGinty Bratcher Beard. She was married to Earnie Webster Bratcher and they had 9 children. Joyce, Lee Roy, Wanda, Jannie, Linda, Martha, Carolyn, Earnestine (Tina), and Earnie DeWayne (Buddy).
Carrie was the daughter of Willian Theodore McGinty of Greenbriar and Sarah Jannie Risener McGinty. Her siblings were William (Bill), Edgar Ray, Clara Bell, Carl, Roma Ross, and Ivey Jewell.
Her mother, Sarah Jannie Risener McGinty, had a twin sister named Lottie Jane Risener Phillips. Her father, Willian Theodore McGinty, was the son of Louisa Tarkington McGinty and Willian Thomas McGinty. His siblings were John, Frank, Jim, Ida, Goldie, and Joe.
We are looking for any information regarding the Risener's, Tarkington's, Bratcher's, or McGinty's. If anyone should have any information regarding any of these families, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
