Joseph William could not have been Thomas B. McGintys son
as he married Elizabeth Hammers on 10-080-1862, Miss (Mary
F. Tarkington on Dec. 25, 1864, and Loueazer Catherin on
Dec. 23, 1866. Try looking at son of Eli Hood McGinty in
Yazoo Co. Ms. He speaks of his son Joe in a letter to
Thomas his brother living in Faulkner co. Ar. Or it may
be a son of Thomas' half brothers who came to Ar. with
their father Joseph Jackson back in about 1840. The only
Joseph born to Thomas and Loueazer Tarkington McGinty was
Joseph Henry b. 4-22-1893 d. 11-26-1971.
