Dave, in looking through some old paper files this morning I found a note pertaining to "Family Bible of James McGinety" from which I apparently had copied the following data: James McGinety, born 23 June 1820; Elizabeth McGinety, born 27 April 1822; John P McGinety, born 2 May 1837; Christopher C McGinety, born 17 Aug 1838. There was a notation on the original document that said other children followed Christopher. My notes were made years ago and probably from materials at the Mormon Family History facility located here at Mesa, Az. But I'm not sure of that. In any event the information shows John P and Christopher to be brothers. Perhaps William A was one of the unnamed children who followed Christopher.

The Shively you cited is no relation of mine. My pioneer Shively ancestor was Jacob Scheible who arrived in Logan, Ohio about 1857. My grandfather, Jacob Jr, was a tailor and came to Huntington around 19OO. Both Dottie and I grew up in Huntington. How long have you lived there? I'm 80 now, graduated at old HHS in '42. Bob
