I don't know how much luck I will have replying to a 4 year old message but here goes.

I am pretty sure I knew Munk McGinty when I was a student at Texas A&M. My mother (a McGinty) told me that he was kin but not close enough to matter so I never talked to him about family.

In any event, if he was who I think he was, he was missing a hand and part of an arm and worked as a supervisor at the Texas A&M physical plant and I was a student radio operator at the time.

Even though I don't know much, at least someone in the internet fog remembers your grandfather.

Wish I remembered more.
