My gruncle William Theordor McGinty told me about a Cousin Lee McGinty being the World Champion Rodeo Rider at the
World's Fair in NYC 1900. I have read in a history book
about a William McGinty who rode with Theordor Rooseveldt
and the Roughriders up San Juan Hill. And more recently I
have read postings about a Billy McGinty a roughrider and
World Champion broncho rider who live in Ripley, OK in his
last years. Just wondering if Lee and Billy are one and the same person since it is unlikely there were two world
champion broncho riders at about the same time.
Got any ideas about this?
