I mean't that if their dau. was born in 1809, they had to be born in the 1700's. This would make them some of the earliest McGintys in America. I'm not familiar with them. They might be from another McGinty branch. My branch came from Ireland to PA and then on down to NC. They were not in VA. Good luck and keep me posted. mcgintyboy@aol.com
