Neil it is evident that your line of McGintys arrived in
America over a hundred years after my line came over.
my line was John 1st b. 1720 County Donegal Ireland and
his wife was Rebecca b.? Country ? Jerry McGinty found
land records of John and Rebecca in PA going back to the
1740s-50s and later in NC. John d. in Mecklinburg Co. NC
in abt 1782 and his wife Rebecca moved down into Wilkes
Co GA with her sons families. My extended lineage is John 1st, Robert & wife Deborah, Joseph & wife Loueazer, Thomas
& wife Louise, Franklin & wife Gennie, Ernest & wife Opal
(my parents) Robert & Deborah were probably b. in PA. Joseph b. in GA. Thomas B. in AR. Frank b. in Ar. Ernest
