Robert married at 22 and he died married to the same woman
as far as I can tell.
There is one curious item: In his household in the 1930
census there is a 21 mo. old boy, William P. McGinty
listed as Robert's son. His wife was 58 at the time.
Was this really a grandson, an adoption, or perhaps a child
with another woman?
Robert McGinty died on May 1, a month after the 1930 census
was taken.
