Hello Robert:

For the McGINTY surname (+variants), roughly 25% of B/M rcds are in Co. Mayo. Another 30% are in the counties that comprise Ulster Province. The remainder are scattered over all the other Irish counties.

For the DUGGAN surname (+variants), there are 14,196 B rcds dating from abt 1711, and 6,771 M rcds dating from 1704 in the 26 of 32 Irish counties for which records have been transcribed and put online. About 40% of the rcds occur in Leinster Province.

You will need forenames, estimated DOB/POB, DOM/POM, placename(s), etc to stand any chance of finding their B/M/D records in Ireland.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
