I don't see anything on a Rachel. I haven't really done much on the McGouirks that early-just what I could find pretty easily. I do see that Seth McGouirk was in Walton Co. in about 1820 and he died in Jasper Co., GA in 1827. The census material on the some of the children of Seth give their father's state of birth as GA, altho that could be incorrect. I am sorry that I can't help you. I am not a McGouirk desc., but one of my ancestresses was married to a McGouirk before she was married to my ancestor. That is my interest in this.

Thank you for contacting me and Good Luck.

Mona
