Died Aug. 12, 1863

Married ? (first name) HOPE.
Rose Siler Sedley says she lived with a ROBERT (perhaps her grandfather] during census.)

1. JANE McGOWAN (daughter of JOHN & ?HOPE)
Born 1822 at Coal Valley.
Died 1875.
Married EBENEZER D. CURRY Jan. 1, 1851.
Father: ROBERT CURRY (1772-1849)
Mother: NANCY BARNES (1782 to about 1854)
Parents: natives of Maryland, and located on Lick Run,
in Jefferson Township, Pa,
but soon moved to Coal Valley, where they both died.

EBENEZER D. CURRY
Born Feb. 5. 1814, Lick Run, Allegheny County, Pa.
Died Jan. 17, 1876, Gill Hall, Allegheny County, Pa..
Buried Mifflin United Presbyterian Church Cemetery,
West Mifflin, Pa.
Occupation: Farmer
Religion: Presbyterian

After JANE and EBENEZER’S marriage they remained in
Coal Valley until 1863,when EBENEZER purchased a farm
at Gill Hall and moved to it.

ROBERT M. CURRY, farmer, postoffice Gill Hall, a son of EBENEZER and JANE (McGOWAN) CURRY, was born at Coal Valley, Jefferson Township, in 1853. His grandparents, ROBERT and NANCY, were both natives of Maryland, and located on Lick Run, in Jefferson Township, but soon after moved to Coal Valley, where they both died, ROBERT in 1849, and NANCY about 1854. EBENEZER D. was born on Lick Run, Feb. 5, 1814, and JANE, his wife, daughter of JOHN McGOWAN, was born at Coal Valley. After their marriage they remained in Coal Valley until 1863, when EBENEZER purchased a farm at Gill Hall and removed to it. Their children were WILLIAM R. M., LEMEUL, EBENEZER, ANNA B., JOSEPH and ELIZABETH J., ANNA B., is now MRS. GEORGE SICKMAN, ROBERT M., IN 1874, MARRIED NANNIE J., daughter of WILLIAM DUFF, of Jefferson Township, and they have two children, ALVIN E. and CORA B. Mr. & Mrs. CURRY are members of the U. P. Church.
